Andreas Ohnhaus – Tour Vocal Coach | Vocal Health
Specialist | Vocal Producer
Berlin-based vocal coach and singer Andreas Ohnhaus is one of Germany’s leading experts in tour preparation and
live artist support. For more than ten years, he has worked with some of the country’s most renowned artists, including Alligatoah, Wincent Weiss, K.I.Z, Tream, Ben Zucker, Bülent
Ceylan, Benno!, Sing Meinen Song, Focus., Montreal, Annisokay, Audio88 & Yassin, Ásdís, Clide, Kelvin Jones and many more. He supports both arena tours and the
biggest festivals in Germany, ensuring that artists can use their voices healthily, expressively, and powerfully — even under the highest
demands.
His coaching covers every stage of a tour: from individually tailored warm-ups and cool-downs, vocal techniques, and "quick fixes"
for instant improvement to vocal massage, fitness and vocal yoga sessions, mental training, and lifestyle consulting. Andreas works directly on set, during soundchecks, or
remotely via Zoom to make sure that every performance on stage reflects 100% of an artist’s vocal potential.
His coaching and vocal therapy methods, as well as his vocal massage techniques, are continuously updated through close collaboration with leading voice researchers from England. Additionally, Andreas uses the vocal analysis software “Praat” to align his acoustic vocal assessments with data-based results. This combination ensures the best possible, fully customized coaching approaches for each artist.
In his work, Andreas places special emphasis on preserving and strengthening the individual voice, enhancing expression and endurance, so that long tours and multi-day festivals can be performed without vocal strain. Drawing from Estill Voice Training, Primal Voice, Complete Vocal Technique, Zen of Screaming, Functional Voice Training, Lax Vox, and Speech Level Singing, he blends proven techniques with effective, immediate solutions.
In addition to his work as a tour coach, Andreas is the lead singer of the band ANTITYPE and Head of the Vocal Department at BIMM University Berlin, where he trains the next generation of professional singers.
